Who we are

What we collect
When you register a complaint: name, mobile number, email (optional / for verification), location and address of the issue, GPS location if you share it, the description and photos (up to the set limit).
Photos are resized on your phone before upload, and all metadata except GPS is removed.
We never ask for or store Aadhaar numbers, bank details or passwords.
How we use it
Only to follow up your complaint, raise it with the concerned municipal department, update you on its status (email / WhatsApp / phone), and publish anonymous aggregate statistics (progress dashboard).
Your information is never sold, never used for advertising and never used for political campaigning.
WhatsApp communication
If you message our WhatsApp number (+91 93716 62224), your number and messages are used to register complaints and send status updates. Reply "STOP" at any time to opt out. WhatsApp processes messages under Meta's own privacy policy.
Storage & security
Data is stored in an encrypted, access-controlled cloud database (Supabase). Photos are kept in private storage visible only to authorised office staff. No personal information is shown on the public website.
Records are kept for up to 3 years after a complaint is closed, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights & data deletion
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may access, correct or delete your data. Email seva@sapnachhajed.in or send "DELETE <tracking number>" on WhatsApp. We will delete your data and photos within 30 days and confirm to you.
Cookies
We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Only your language choice and an unfinished complaint draft (without name/mobile) are stored in your own browser.
